We have worked with a wide range of businesses and organisations, many of them high profile leaders in their field. We like to get to know our clients, their staff and their values and ultimately become part of the team – that way, we can better understand their PR needs and deliver the best results for them.
We work across a range of sectors. The following examples illustrate the extent of our versatility.
With 12 years experience working in the aviation sector, it’s an industry we know extremely well. Uniquely, Donald Morrison has worked for all but one of Scotland’s major passenger airports, giving him unrivalled experience of the industry and its challenges.
Our relationship with Glasgow Airport is longstanding. Our director worked as media manager at Glasgow Airport from 2004 to 2006, and then as head of media for parent company BAA Scotland until November 2009, at which point he launched his own agency. Thereafter, we continued to work on an ad hoc basis for the airport, providing media support, advising the leadership team on reputational matters and supporting the airport’s public affairs strategy. More recently, we have produced a series of corporate videos and provided copywriting support.
We worked with the team at Aberdeen Airport over a number of years, supporting their media and public affairs strategy. Following the appointment of a new managing director, we carried out a root and branch review of the airport’s external communications, drawing on interviews with key stakeholders to reshape their approach, resulting in increased stakeholder support and engagement.
Illustrating the diversity of services we provide, we also commissioned an economic appraisal study to highlight the airport’s importance to the regional economy, delivered media training for the leadership team, supported the launch of the airport’s Master Plan, briefed the MD ahead of a high profile Transport Select Committee hearing, responded to numerous UK Government consultations, and arranged a major stakeholder conference to showcase the airport’s future investment plans.
We handled the HIAL public relations brief for over four years, generating sustained media coverage over the period and advising the managing director and leadership team on business critical issues. In addition, we drafted responses to aviation policy consultations, supported the launch of new high profile routes, engaged with local stakeholders and provided a range of copywriting services including the annual report, opinion articles, passenger communications and the HIAL website. We also delivered media training for the team at Barra Airport and promoted terminal redevelopments at Inverness and Sumburgh airports.
